{"id":4246,"date":"2021-05-25T11:30:38","date_gmt":"2021-05-25T11:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bergamo2035.it\/at-the-architecture-biennale-2021-the-book-responsive-environments-promoted-by-fondazione-pesenti\/"},"modified":"2025-05-13T13:54:45","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T13:54:45","slug":"at-the-architecture-biennale-2021-the-book-responsive-environments-promoted-by-fondazione-pesenti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bergamo2035.it\/en\/at-the-architecture-biennale-2021-the-book-responsive-environments-promoted-by-fondazione-pesenti\/","title":{"rendered":"At the Architecture Biennale 2021, the book &#8220;Responsive Environments&#8221; promoted by Fondazione Pesenti"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;<em><strong>Responsive\nEnvironments: An Interdisciplinary Manifesto on Design, Technology\nand the Human Experience<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; -book promoted by the Foundation\nPesenti as part of the &#8220;Real Cities &#8211; Bergamo2035&#8221; project and the\nongoing collaboration with Harvard Graduate School of Design and the University\nof Bergamo- was presented at the Architecture Biennale 2021.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The volume, published by Actar\nPublishers, edited by Allen Sayegh, Stefano Andreani and Matteo Kalchschmidt,\nencompasses contributions from international experts and protagonists.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of the projects and insights\npresented in the book, are on display these days (until Nov. 21, 2021)\nat the exhibition &#8220;Time, Space, Existence&#8221; at Palazzo Mora in Venice.\nThe exhibition is sponsored by the European Cultural Centre &#8211; Italy, in the context\nof the <sup>17th<\/sup> Architecture Biennale.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What makes an environment &#8220;responsive&#8221;? The\nbook answers this question by presenting some key concepts in the form\nof a Design Manifesto.
